    Miss Kitty 15yrs. old

    Post by Mamaw6 on Fri 10 Apr 2009, 09:58

    My ageing Miss Kitty
    15 yrs. old
She has naturally lost all but 1 of her long pointed teeth and she has trouble eating the dry food so now her diet mainly consist of can foods because it's softer and some scraps. Think they make false teeth for cats? lol!

They look a lot alike. There's not a dog around that will bother my Miss Kitty.

That's cool the dogs don't bother her...so that means she goes outside...I'm thinking you might have a world record cat on your hands. A cat that goes outside living that long. I'm going to check into that. What kind of food did she eat, and what does she eat now? Have you ever had any problems with her?

No problems at all. I had her spayed when she was 4 months old and kept up with her vaccines. She has always eaten dry food. No perticular kind. I change it occasionally just so she won't get bored. Sometimes especially now I give her canned food. Miss Kitty was a barn kitty when I got her. I've tried several times over the years to keep her inside but after about 3 days she wants out and won't come back in. She has always been a great mouse catcher and moles too. Although she doesn't catch anymore. Now she stays very close to home.
