    I keep a solo rbp in a 30g,..have had him 2yrs now,..very active
on his own and owns that tank:) he's close to 9''s now and wasn't
nearly this active in a shoal i had,..I dont think a Piraya could
live in a 55g for life,..my choice would be A Ternetzi of the 4,..
i hear Caribe do better in shoals and rbp are, well, luck of the draw.

Hmmm If I only had a bigger tank i would love to maybe have 3-5 pygo's mixed of coarse but 55 is all i have i know my caribe were much more active than my reds and tern that were together but never have kept a solo.

But damn your right i freaking miss the bunch.

You could do 3 RBP in that 55 gallon, but once they get about 6 inches they get cramped in there I find.. But i like to give them lots of room. I'm putting my compressus in my 55 gallon.

Solo Pygo 55 gal. Empty 55

Post by pboost Tue 14 Jul 2009, 16:04

Dims are 48x22x12 think it is just a normal sized 55 i think. i know my 50 breeder is a little wider but shorter in height. Yeah it was a good deal had to get it I might paint the stand again there is some rust in the bottom corners but thats typical for the iron stands.
