My juvenile piranhas will eat anytime. I've been feeding 'em three times a day (pellets mostly), and usually a lot of 'em. They are growing really well, and they always eat like it's their last meal. Should I feed 'em more? scratch

Great to hear u have your juvi's on pellets all ready!! I remember
feeding my young reds 3-5 times daily but never more than they
would eat,..they grew very fast however their appetites slowed
down with growth,...not a bad idea to keep young rbp's full:)
will help to keep aggression down and "fingers crossed" all of
    them alive,..

Thanks for the info. They get along a lot better than they did at first. No more torn fins! Maybe I should feed 'em a bit more. They always "clean their plate".

My RBPs (when they were juveniles and now) will only eat until they are full, and I'm under the impression most are that way. Correct me if I'm wrong. You shouldn't have to worry about over feeding, just make sure you take out any uneaten food, if there is any, when they are done.

I here you all there my juvie JD's don't ever stop eating... They will eat everything that I give them, except for one of them he-she doesn't care for the tubiflex forms but will tear up blood worms, and pellets, and everything else in between especially guppies.(once a week) And I've learned that as long as I feed them plenty there is no fin nipping toward each other or there tank buddies a do jo loach and a rainbow shark.
