    Couple shots of my fish.

Post by pboost on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 00:42

nov 2008 5 inches or so.FLowerhorn. Oh yeah he is housed with one very old catfish. seems to do just fine with him and he's so fat the flowerhorn doesn't seem to mind him. Unlike the 1 pleco in there that gets beat on occasionially.

    Today

    Oldcatfish.
My uncle passed away last year this cat was picked up in 1994 along with some cichlids. My Aunt did not want to care for them nor new the first thing how to so they are in my hands.

My 120 that still houses my one serra that i picked up from Ash last year. He's kinda on the shy side he comes out and does his thing when he wants i dont like stressing him much so here is a full shot of the tank. Maybe tomorrow if he is in a good mood. and swimming the powerhead after feeding ill try to catch some nice shots, that were unsuccesfull today.

    Serra

Post by pboost on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 12:04

Not sure exactly what serra, Ash wasn't to sure of his pick up origin, im leaning toward a guyana rhom (spelling). But i honestly don't care he's awesome and a great eater, he's shy if i walk up to quickly to the tank but if i sit there for a few minutes he is interested in me and usually starts swimming the glass. Not a finger chaser or some brutal beast but slowly coming around. When i first picked him up he was small and usually stayed at the water line on his side. Came along way im completly satisfied with him.

1 year ago him in a 50 breeder at the time.

Treated him with one live very healthy gold fish trying to get him to protect an area in a tank to get him off the water line. Did this feeding once a week for a month and pellet fed him between seemed to bring him down to the substrate and he would guard the right side. Now only live food he gets on a weekly basis is a cray fish, Something about them he just loves.

    Growth

Post by pboost on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 13:08

I would say a solid 5 1/2 6 inches looks to be putting on some thickness now. I would say he grew the fastest to 4-5 inches. Curious to see his growth on 99 percent varied types of pellet foods now that he eats so good on them.
