hey guys..i am trying to make sure my baby rhom is eating. he is currently at an inch in length. It was said they were kept on live black worms.. i haven't been able to find them anywhere by me so I tried frozen brine shrimp, and then I tried the frozen blood worms. He chews the blood worms in and out of his mouth then spits it out...he does that to about five to ten...and then hes done...i don't know if he is getting out of them what he is suppose to, i never fed piranhas blood worms so i don't know if he is actually eating them or spitting them out...Any ides on feeding him, i wan't him to get bigger and grow healthy. I was just hinkning about throwing a small feeeder in there and see what he does...i dunno...

I feed my baby Red Belly piranha's blood worms, cut up pieces of any white fish(thawed) or cut up pieces of shrimp, of course all thawed and raw.

Also, uncooked shrimp w/ the shell on, earth worms, you might
also try some sinking carnivore pellets, even some wafers, see
what he'll eat. The blood worms and brine shrimp are very good
for him,..if he's eating them, i would feed it 2 or 3 times a wk.
Try to steer clear of red meats like beef heart as a staple,..
on occasion it's ok though,..Variety is the key,...

yeah thats what i did for my spilo...i fed him a beefheart prolly twice a week or so with some good pellets and some occasional convicts..i feed him the blood worms atleast once a day and sometimes twice..hes doing good

those pellets are the best though..you can't beat the nutrients you get out of them.. im trying to get him to eat em but im gonna wait till hes a lil bigger..my gold use to pop those bad boys off like crazy..he got big off them quick...fed him twice a day with em
