    first off nice section add on cheers secondly does anyone have any emperror scorpions if so could you fill me in on them and stuff I am thinking about picking one up (possibly) I would like to know the cage size and stuff.

    Yeah I do, but not often. Mainly when I'm cleaning his tank or something like that. Or to get a pic.

    what do you feed your guy? im assuming crickets? what type of substrate do you use? and what about heating? are you using a uth for the heating? those are awesome creatures I really like them.

    Hey man sorry it took me so long to get back to ya, I was having problems logging in. Yeah I feed him mostly crickets with the occasional worm. My substrate is a custom mixture of organic soil (no chems or ferts) peat moss and a little sand. As for heating, I use a low wattage infrared heat lamp. I chose not to go with a uth because he burrows alot, and every burrow he has made has gone to the bottom of the tank at one point.

    I think I might pick one up if the local pet store has any available. I am sure petland here does but there so dag on expensive. I would have to pay 2 x as much as I could get it at the local petstore so I go that route plus the local pet store his stuff is real real healthy. anyhow I will get a overhead lamp when I decide to go with one I have heard they can get burnt on them under tank heaters. Thanks though man for the help.

    wow only 10 bucks out that way? I would think there way more then that here. I havent ran into any though petstore didnt have any in stock that ive noticed. only thing I seen he had differently was a pac man frog which was $30.00

    hi,

    nope never got the pac man unfortunately he sold it. as far as emperors go I noticed he had a couple in for like 14 bucks each I do believe. I am still thinking whether I should get one or not?.

    Can't remember if it was Petsmart or Petco that carries them. Cool pet to have even thou mine really weren't active. I did have a female that had little ones before I sold her.
    Plus they look great under black lights. :)
