Hey Metal and Cam and everyone else,

I just played a great trick on crabby-girl! lol she keeps telling me how much she loves Metals Reds and well tonight on messenger she asked me she said I wonder if Metal ever breeds his Reds. I replied back and said I am not sure and then she said I sold my 20 gallon today and I was like, "what?, you got to be kidding me" shes like no im not kidding you why? I said you got to be kidding you sold that 20 gallon? then shes like yeah? why? lol I said Maniacs sending you 5 baby reds for that tank you got, shes like what???? I said yeah your going need that tank back for the 5 baby reds, shes like no flippin way?? lol it was hillarious and now shes calling me on the phone saying that was just wrong and she thought that I said I was shipping her 5 reds lol I said, no, I said Maniac was lol man shes ticked lol what a heck of a joke shes all fired up I laughed so hard tears just flew out!!

My lil sis's reds just laid a batch of eggs,..she had
(against what i told her) some feeder goldies in there
and they started picking at some of them,..lets see how
they turn out,..may be able to ship you some at the cost
of overnight shipping,..so far they are eggs w/ tails:)
i'll keep u updated,..

Sure will,..Metal,..these are my old reds,..remember,..
i had those guys for 1.5yrs for sure and never a batch of
eggs,..she gets em,..i set her up with an old 65gal i had
and a few mo's later she calls and asks why they turned all
most black,..wasn't long after that and she has eggs in her
tank,..WTH Right:)Haha,..o well,..i'm happy for her,..

What part of WV are you in? I'm in the DC area and there's reds all around MD. You can get em almost anywhere. Right now they've got a special you can get a whole shoal of 6 for like $80 or something, but you really need a 125g for a shoal of 6.

Lately no breeding behavior:( They are very active though,..this 65gal
i gave her was a salt tank that sat empty in the garage awhile,..well
it has a light film on the glass that after trying everything is still
there,..i think this film is just enough that they are not distracted
by things going on outside the tank. The have never behaved the way they
do now in that tank! Very active and aggressive! The lighting is low to
med,.so seeing them is not an issue,..they don't seem to see out very
well though,...

my reds are back in breeding mode coz of the summer heat.im feeding them less amounts to prevent that.
if the crabby lady wasnt halfway around the world i could have given her any number of fry she wanted .lol

Oh man..what a thread..seems everyones reds are going crazy latelly

I have 9 9-10 inchers that i have in a 110 gal at my buddies...we put them together because my 5 only had 1 spawn in a year and his never

We;;,,the past 2 weeks they have been spawning like mad...there are 3 pairs and eggs are laid every 6 days it seems

My freind and i are turning this into a full time buisiness since the eggs keep coming

I am all setup and the first batch i am syphoning this afternoon..

Hey crabby-girl..if you can figure out shipping..i can send you all the fry you like

When i go there this afternoon i will take some pics of the pits and the massive amount of eggs!
