I have never heard of success with anyone cohabin any compressus..i know with mine anything that drops into the water alone is shreaded with in a couple mins

I[b] would strongly suggest against it

Do you just have the one specimen now??

If so how big is he and how long have you had him??

    Any pics???

I 2nd that! Maybee if you could provide a very, very large tank with plenty of cover,..would still be(imo)an expensive, risky, cohab attempt.

However, if you you have a large enough tank, why not devide it and add
    another?

Serrasalmus Geryi (Violet Line Piranha) is possible
to keep together as long as the conditions are right.
With a 220gal, that would be an Amazing Shoal!!

The only other Serra that has been successfully
cohabed for a time is Serrasalmus Spilopluera (Gold Spilo)
